How to register for the sessions?

Select the month you wish to attend from the 'Curriculum' tab → click 'Register' on each event → after registration you should receive email confirmation and calendar invitations. Check our calendar to find out about the future dates of the sessions → filter “Foundations Course” on the left-hand side of the page.

What to expect in the sessions?

Week 1

Live Session #1 - Introduction to Engagement: Data Structure, Data Management & Customer Filters

Lectures 1-4: Introduction to Bloomreach Engagement, Data Structure & Data Management, Customer Filters 

In Week 1, you will start with an introductory kick-off session where you'll get a chance to meet fellow learners and ask any course-related questions. The first live session with our subject matter experts will solidify the Engagement basics and provide an opportunity to ask any questions related to the content of the first week. Therefore, it's expected that you will dive into the course materials straight away. In this session, you will:

  • Recap your knowledge from W1 via a class quiz and see how you rank amongst your fellow students
  • Find out what are the most common mistakes students make
  • Strengthen the basics before jumping into the more advanced content

This live session is recommended for everyone.

Week 2

Live Session #2 - Analyses, Definitions, and Data & Assets

Lectures 5-7: Definitions, Data & Assets, Analyses

In Week 2, you will dive into more advanced content. Learn how to create custom customer attributes known as aggregates and calculate your first project-wide metrics such as the total business revenue, number of unique buyers, or other business-wide KPIs. You will also get to know the platform’s analyses tools, like segmentation, funnels, and reports, that enable you to evaluate your data and make responsible data-driven decisions in your business. In this session, you will:

  • Recap your knowledge from W2
  • Learn to execute complex analytical use cases through exercises, leveraging metrics, aggregates and others
  • Be inspired by further analytical use cases

This live session is recommended for everyone, but especially for students of the Data Analyst Learning Journey.

Week 3

Live Session #3 - Campaigns (Emailing & Web Optimization)

Lectures 8: Campaigns

In Week 3, you will learn how to create personalized email campaigns, use web layers, and automate your communication with the help of scenarios. You will understand how you can A/B test inside the platform and we will show you how you can ensure that your personalized communication is most effective, and much, much more. This live session will introduce you to even more use cases, so come prepared with your questions and ask about any specific use cases that interest you and are relevant to your business. In this session, you will:

  • Recap your knowledge of W3
  • Learn to execute complex use cases with Scenarios, Email Campaigns and Web layers
  • Be inspired by further use cases on emailing, automation and others

This live session is recommended for everyone, but especially for students of the Emailing & Web Optimization Learning Journeys.

Week 4

Live Session #4 - Group Exercise: Worlds Coming Together

In Week 4, you will recap your newly acquired knowledge about Bloomreach Engagement in a group exercise with your fellow students. You will also have the opportunity to ask any final exam or course-related questions. After this session, there is only one more thing missing to fully complete the course - your successful completion of the final exam. In this session, you will:

  • Participate in a group revision exercise
  • Learn more about a specific business use case: Loyalty Programme
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions about the Final Exam
