Specifically, the course covers how to create astonishingly in-depth reports for any business analysis and comprehensive dashboards to present statistically-backed ideas to your colleagues. Building upon the basics established in our Introduction to Engagement course, join us for a learning journey that takes you from asking the right business questions about customer data to implementing specific revenue-generating use cases.

Who is this course for?

Note that the prerequisite for this course is the successful completion of our Engagement Foundations: Full Course. It will be most valuable for the next generation of marketers (e.g. Marketing Campaign Coordinator, SEO Analyst) who want to engage with their customers with personalized campaigns. Graduates of the Advanced Analytics course are limited only by their imagination to create meaning out of raw data through the various analytic tools offered by Bloomreach Engagement.

What to expect in this course?

Week 1

Lesson 1 - Data, Definitions, & Custom Attribution
The course starts with an introduction to the data & definitions that Bloomreach Engagement runs on. Understanding the nature of our system helps the student subsequently grasp the foundation on which our analyses are created. The lesson then steers towards using Custom Attribution — getting into the nitty gritty of using Expressions. The on-demand materials during the first week will cover the following topics:

  • Bloomreach Engagement data structure, sources, methods of transfer, different data types, and the flow
  • Attributes related to events such as session start; purchase and cart update
  • Differentiation between aggregate vs running aggregate and their correct usage
  • Introduction of expressions and their abilities
  • Time-based purchase analysis
  • Attributes of campaign, banner, experiment, and recommendation
  • Expressions from real practice, how to build them, and report evaluation
  • Tips and tricks on how to produce valuable reports, introducing various features
  • Report breakdown

Lesson 1 - Live Session #1
The first live session will revise new topics covered in the on-demand materials — particularly Custom Attribution and how you can leverage it in a report. Our business consultants will also go over several examples of building advanced analyses using custom attribution. This live session will cover all the essentials to creating definitions and analyses.

Week 2

Lesson 2 - Advanced Reporting & Segmentations
Our second lesson introduces more in-depth applications of Custom Attribution into Bloomreach Engagement. Using a wide array of analyses such as reports, segmentations, and dashboards, this lesson explores several business use cases of Advanced Analytics, ensuring that you can take the most value out of our course. You will now be able to apply your knowledge to a wide variety of marketing scenarios. The on-demand materials during the second week will cover the following topics:

  • Creation of complex analysis using multiple attributes
  • Building example reports applying all of the introduced definitions
  • No. days between purchases
  • Recency, Frequency, and Monetary Value Segmentation
  • Introduction of additional use cases and their real-time building
  • No. sessions between purchases
  • Breaking down campaign reports by various attributes and their implications
  • Additional analytical tools in Bloomreach Engagement such as trends, flows, and retentions
  • Creating effective and easy-to-navigate dashboards

Lesson 2 - Live Session #2
The second live session will recap all of the key knowledge covered and provide additional explanations with step-by-step walkthroughs for more fully developed analyses. This session will also act as a Q&A, clarifying any final queries and concerns as well as walk you through what the course exam will cover.

Week 3

Live Exam Evaluation Session
The session is devoted to the evaluation of your exams and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any final questions about the course or exam content. Please submit the exam before this session. After the successful completion of the exam, you will be provided with an official Bloomreach Certificate.
