Discovery Foundations is the definitive introductory course for new users to Bloomreach Discovery or those team members who need a refresher on features and functionality. In this course, you will learn how Bloomreach Search works, how to set up search and category rules, targeted audiences, A/B tests, and more. Additionally, you will go through a deep dive into the functionality of Bloomreach Insights, our in-suite merchandising analytics tool.

Ensure your team is trained on Discovery in order to maximize your digital experience with the Bloomreach Experience Platform.

    • A/B testing best practices
    • Audience Targeting
    • Campaigns & Assets functionality to effectively align a page with marketing campaigns and draw attention to certain products on the page
    • Pathway & Recommendations to enhance the product discovery experiences on your site
    • Insights Dashboard to measure the impact of changes made and the value added by your action: Activities, Library, Metrics & Attribution, Opportunities, Playbooks, and Collections

Live Q&A Sessions

Throughout this training, you will be offered three live Q&A sessions (up to two hours each) hosted by a Business Services Consultant at Bloomreach.

Week 1

During this week, you will familiarize yourself with the Bloomreach Search functionality.  We will discuss how Autosuggest Blocklist, Ranking Diagnostics, Redirects, and Synonyms within Search can help visitors quickly and easily find their products on your site.

Topics covered:

    • Bloomreach Search module

Week 2

In week 2, you will learn how products are retrieved and sorted for category pages and how it is different from search results pages. Moreover, you will learn how to manage and customize your Global Rules and Facets to refine your search or reduce the product shown on a particular category page.

    • Bloomreach Categories module
    • Global Rules & Facet Management module

Live Q&A Session #1: Live customer examples + Q&A with our top consultants (up to 2 hours)

Week 3

As you reach the middle of this course, we will dive deeper into understanding how to set up various A/B tests within the Bloomreach dashboard. Moreover, we will cover the topics of Audience targeting and Campaigns & Assets to effectively align a page with marketing campaigns and draw attention to certain products on your pages. Finally, you will learn how to work with the Pathways & Recommendations widget configurator to enhance the Product discovery experiences on your site.

Live Q&A Session #2: Live customer examples + Q&A with our top consultants (up to 2 hours)

Week 4

In the final week of this course, we will walk through some of the best practices on how to measure the impact of changes made and the value added by your actions on the site via the Bloomreach dashboard. Besides, you will understand how to use Bloomreach Playbooks, specifically the Find Optimizations, Asses Performance, and View Customer Journey sections to enhance product discovery on the site.

This training takes approximately 12 hours to complete.
